Sorry, but this is not Sharepoint...
Sharepoint is great at what it does - that said it does have its fans and its detractors. If a 'document authoring, collaboration or versioning' environment is what you are looking for - then XNet Pro is not for you.
XNet Pro does not provide a document authoring, collaboration or versioning environment - instead it assumes that your agencies have already created marketing assets from a simple PDF right up to a full 1GB zipped folder of brochure artwork. XNet Pro allows you to upload these existing documents and let certain user groups access them immediately.
This should be seen as a marketing extranet as opposed to the myriad types of uses extranets have been put to - ie XNet Pro is not suitable for the following:
- Exchanging billing invoices and payments through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- Entering into joint ventures with other businesses
- Collaborating with other companies to develop training materials
- Providing online services to customers
It is however big, fast and really simple. It is great at what it does best - communicate your marketing content to your channel automatically.
XNet Pro is a dedicated hosted web platform for you to share files/documents (ie: adverts, brochures, campaign materials created by your existing agencies) with your channel.
Any file of almost any size
 File types that you can upload and store include: 7z, ai, doc, docx, exe, gif, indd, jpeg, jpg, pdf, png, ppt, pptx, psd, tif, wmv, xls, xml, xps, zip. The max file size is 1GB per file - that's big! Especially when you consider that you also have unlimited online storage space (the Cloud can expand as you need more on a pay-as-you-use basis).
Your public users can also refine their search by file type - great for dealers who want to find all the videos of your new product X, etc. Did you notice the InDesign file type (indd) in this example? - even whole brochure artwork folders can be uploaded in one go, containing all the InDesign files you need. This is a favourite for agencies!
